Unfortunately, Unity Graphic and Marketing cannot match colors. Matching color while printing on physical materials is challenging due to limitations in color gamut, substrate influence, ink characteristics, calibration requirements, variations in lighting conditions, and printing equipment nuances. Essentially, a computer display screen is just not the same as a physical surface.
Please follow these tips for achieving the best results:
-
Use CMYK color values.
-
For first time prints, order a smaller size and amount to see the color in real life.

For Printing on Fabric
Blue Color Setting:
- “Blue” needs at least a 30% difference value between Cyan and Magenta.
- We strongly recommend to set a low amount of magenta when you have a high level of Cyan to avoid purple.
- 30% difference is the key to avoid the final printed fabric turning purple.
Black Color Setting:
- “Black” suggested CMYK level at: C60 M40 Y40 K100
- This setting will deliver the true rich black tone for fabric printing.
Die-Cut Printing Guide
-
When creating a Die-Cut file, please include a stroke or outline on a separate layer.
-
The stroke or outline is used to show how it will be cut.
-
You should name the color swatch to outline/stroke.
-
Make sure your cut file is on a separate layer for us to recognize the cut line.
File Formatting And Setting
-
All Die-Cut files should be saved in formats that support vector artwork.
-
Acceptable file types: AI, PDF, EPS
-
Unacceptable file types: JPG, GIF, PNG, BMP, TIFF, and PSD
