\nRegistered Nurse - PCU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work in Main 11 West Neuroscience PCU Unit
\n• 34-bed unit with 6 progressive and 15 total telemetry patients
\n• Self-scheduling with weekend coverage required
\n• Care for adult and geriatric patients with daily census of 30.5
\n• 24 hours of orientation provided
\n• 2 years of nursing experience required
\n• BLS certification required
\n• Skills required: interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, telemetry
\n• Trauma Level I experience preferred
\n• EPIC charting experience required
\n• VA or compact state license must be in hand at time of submittal
\n• BSN preferred
\n• Float within scope if needed
\n• Natural nail policy enforced
\n• Complete 6 hours of non-billable modules during orientation week
\n• 2 references required
\n• One year minimum before return eligibility if previously employed

\nThis major medical center features a comprehensive neuroscience progressive care unit that serves as a primary destination for neurology, neurosurgery, and ENT patients. The facility provides extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services. The unit specializes in treating patients with stroke, seizures, dementia, neuromuscular disorders, head/neck/back trauma, and various surgical procedures, with capability to handle stable ventilator patients in progressive care.
