Highland Consulting Group, a construction specific recruiting firm specializing in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions, is seeking an experienced Superintendent with Wastewater or Water Treatment experience for the Harrisburg, PA area. This will be working for a well-established General Contractor that does both ground up and retrofit projects. Successful candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent working on Wastewater and Water Treatment plant projects. This is a permanent position with projects within a commutable distance requiring little overnight travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and delegates tasks with other project team members.
• Oversee daily operations on site to ensure that projects run smoothly.
• Work with the Safety Manager to create a safe work site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with safety regulations and quality control practices.
• Schedule crews and subcontractors.
• Arrange for material and equipment to be on site as needed.
• Work with the foremen to coordinate the daily production plan.
• Oversee quality control.
• Daily reporting of all work completed.
• Interface with the owner on all projects assigned.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent working on Wastewater or Water Treatment projects.
• A mix of ground up and retrofit experience.
• Broad trades experience with a preference for mechanical equipment and piping.
• Project experience up to $25 Million is preferred.
• Solid Communication both verbal and written.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Solid, proven and verifiable record of career stability and superintendent success a must.
