Job Description: SUMMARY Sustains nude and clothed professional portrait poses for art students to observe anatomy and structure to compose artistic drawings and/or paintings.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS - Sustains a variety of both clothed and nude poses for art students
- Adapts to a range of portrait poses and instructor direction
- Professionally and appropriately interacts with students
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING - High School Diploma (or equivalent)
KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS and ABILITIES - Possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Possess basic knowledge of fundamental Artistic Modeling concepts, practices and procedures with the ability to apply in varied
- situations as it pertains to the departmental focus
- Ability to appropriately, sensitively, and professionally interact with instructors and students
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings as needed
- Possess sensitivity to appropriately respond to the needs of a diverse population

The work is performed in a classroom studio environment;
- The work area is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated;
- Typically, the employee will be required to sustain seated, standing and reclining poses for long periods of time;
- Typically, the employee will be required to perform and sustain quick, energetic poses
- Work may also require walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the worksite
