Winery Relations Manager (WRM)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Winery Relations Manager (WRM) is responsible for managing and supporting all winery relationships and coordinating wine sample requests. This role serves as the primary point of contact between the company and partner wineries, ensuring efficient communication, accurate inventory tracking, and timely fulfillment of sample needs.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

•  Extensive knowledge of wine terminology required
•  Wine tasting experience preferred
•  Strong written communication skills with attention to formatting and grammar
•  Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships
•  Excellent time management and multitasking skills
•  Highly organized with strong attention to detail
•  Understanding of the wine market and current industry trends
•  Ability to lift and transport wine cases as needed
•  The applicant must live in Healdsburg or a nearby area

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Communicate directly with new and existing winery partners
•  Manage and fulfill winery sample requests efficiently
•  Maintain prompt and professional email correspondence with quick response times
•  Track inventory and sample requests at the shipping center
•  Coordinate and ship wine samples on an as-needed basis
•  Attend and participate in weekly tasting meetings
•  Assist with additional tasks and special projects as assigned

COMPENSATION AND HOURS

•  Salaried position (compensation based on experience)
•  Required to attend a weekly in-person meeting (approximately 1–2 hours)
•  Required to ship wines in person on a daily basis, as needed
•  All other work hours are remote
