As an Urban Designer Intern, you will provide support to Project Managers for services related to city and town planning; urban design; transportation planning and comprehensive plan development. Planning projects will vary with emphasis on small area plans, corridor planning downtown master planning, transportation, parks, and trails. Striking a balance between art and science, our creativity is strongly rooted in collaboration between clients and designers to create enduring and memorable places.
This internship will begin Summer 2026.

What you will be doing:

Each year we look for a variety of experiences, education, and ability for our student intern pool. Some positions may be filled with students who have experience depending on the level of complexity a project or client may require. Preference may be given to students who have completed a previous internship with Bolton & Menk.
Relocation and housing are not included.
