We are looking for an exceptional Intern to join our Tax Accounting team part time for the 2026 Spring Semester! At the Hultquist firm, you are more than just a number. The Tax intern will utilize their hands-on accounting knowledge to assist in processing taxes for several of our clients and their businesses. This position requires accounting knowledge combined with strong communication skills, analytical & problem-solving skills, a stellar work ethic, organization skills, and a fanatical approach to details. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in preparing tax returns for individuals or businesses according to federal, state, or local laws.
• Preparing tax forms, schedules, and worksheets for accounting purposes.
• Tracking down and researching information about clients’ investments or business operations
• Performing research and analysis on tax issues.
• Helping prepare tax planning strategies for clients.
• Providing general customer service and administrative support to staff members within an organization.

• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills 
• Must be pursuing a degree in Accounting
• Must have completed at least one tax course
• Professionalism, dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude
• Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
• Dedicated to superior client service. 
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Must work effectively with other motivated professionals in a challenging, fast-paced environment
