Guaranteed hours: 40 *No guaranteed hours first 2 weeks of contract
Shift Requirements: 8-hour PM shifts. 2:45p - 11:15p, Monday - Friday
Float Requirements: units alike skillset
Weekend requirements: Rotating
On call/Call Back: N/A
EMR: EPIC
Required certs to be attached upon submittal: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT)
Minimum experience: 2 years, must have Level 1 or II Trauma Experience
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Work attire is Ceil Blue scrubs
Equipment you will be using:
o Steam Autoclaves
o Plasma Sterilizers
o Parecetic Acid Sterilizers
o Biological incubators
o Mechanical Automated instrumentation washers and cart washers
o Instrumentation management software, materials requirements supply chain software and electronic email
Working environment:
• May be exposed to such occupational hazards as communicable disease, blood borne pathogens, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, hazardous medications and disoriented or combative patients or others.
• Moderate to extreme physical effort may be required, such as walking, standing, squatting, reaching, pushing (up to 100 lbs.), pulling, lifting materials, equipment, and objects, and occasionally climbing step stools and ladders.
• Lifting may be heavy and awkward, over 50 lbs.
