Offer product samples and inform customers of coffee shop specials. Provide accurate ordering and portion control to prevent shrinkage. Recommend coffee shop items that meet customer needs. Use equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens, espresso machine, blender, computerized scale, and steamer following company guidelines. Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise. Report ordering or shipping discrepancies. Stay current with present, future, seasonal and special ads. Recruit safety programs, comply with safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management. Practice preventive maintenance on equipment and report repair needs. Report accidents, safety risks, or illegal activity to store management. Work cooperatively in a high‑paced and sometimes stressful environment. Manage conflict in a respectful, non‑confrontational manner. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information. Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve issues. Support and assist through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
