IT Systems Administrator

What You Will Do:

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Experience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
• Working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).
• Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.
• Full time 100% Onsite position.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with Containerization Technologies such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Tanzu, and Rancher.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery Tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps
• Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification).
• Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF, data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions.
• Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.
• Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange
• High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
