You will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access, assisting with badge control, and providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a healthcare location.
• Monitor access points and verify identification to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at the front desk.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by site procedures.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and/or site personnel regarding security-related matters and emergencies.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols for the healthcare environment.
• Address inquiries and provide directions or information to visitors and staff as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
