Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility. This job is ON-SITE.
FTE: 0.525000 Shift: Shift 1 Every other week schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 12:30 PM & Saturday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
Job Summary: The Vascular Access Registered Nurse is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating vascular access nursing care to patients according to Froedtert Hospital's nursing professional practice model.
Experience Description: A minimum of 2 years of recent direct patient care as a registered nurse in a medical/surgical or critical care clinical setting is required.
Education Description: Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
Licensure Description: Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days.
