Located in the heart of Viroqua, WI, Vernon Health is a Critical Access Hospital with a network of Rural Health Clinics and specialty services that support our vibrant community. Position Overview: As a Podiatrist at Vernon Health, you will provide expert care in diagnosing and treating conditions of the foot, ankle, and lower extremities. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in our modern medical office building and outpatient specialty care clinic, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and expanding our podiatry specialty program with a primary focus on meeting the healthcare needs of the communities we serve. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of podiatric conditions. Perform minor surgical procedures and coordinate advanced surgical care when needed. Educate patients on preventive foot care and chronic condition management. Collaborate with primary care providers, nursing, and rehabilitation services. Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with Vernon Health standards. Qualifications: Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution. Completion of accredited Podiatric residency program. Board certification or eligibility in Podiatric Medicine. Valid Wisconsin medical license (or ability to obtain).
