Job Description
Summary This position is accountable for providing clinical care in an area of specialized practice to patients as delegated by the physicians in the inpatient and/or outpatient setting. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will participate in all aspects of patient care as defined in the Collaborative Agreement with the Supervising Physician(s) and work with interdisciplinary teams.
Minimum Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited PA program
- Current license to practice as a professional nurse and a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania OR current licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and current certification with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Prescriptive authority privileges.
Preferred Qualifications - Previous psychiatric work experience as a CRNP/PA.
- Previous inpatient psychiatric work experience.
