Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Patient Care Technician to provide exceptional care for our patients in our Intensive Care/ Progressive Care Unit. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

A typical day includes: Assisting with or performing patient activities of daily living, encouraging independent functioning when appropriate.

• Responding promptly to patient/ staff requests for assistance.
• Assisting with keeping the patient rooms and department neat and clean.
• Notifying licensed nursing personnel promptly of any change in patient status or condition.

Job Requirements:

• Education: HS diploma
• Experience: It is a plus to have experience as a Nurse Assistant as well as some background in ICU setting. No experience needed. We provide on-the-job training! It is a plus if you are certified as a nurse assistant.
• Skills: Good Communication Skills, Patience, Attention to detail, Flexibility, Intrapersonal Skills, Willing to learn and be a valuable person for the department.
• Licensure/Certification: N/A
• Physical: ability to work at a fast pace with about 90% of the day consisting of walking.

The position is Full-Time, Nights.
