Job Description

• Assemble various catheter components accurately and efficiently.
• Support the R&D team with new projects.
• Perform stringing, reflow, liner stretching, coiling, braiding, skiving, annealing, and terminating braid coils.
• Load extrusions and conduct visual inspections.
• Complete final packaging of products.
• Utilize small hand tools, tweezers, and microscopes for assembly tasks.
• Read, understand, and follow SOPs, GDPs, and safety procedures.
• Flex to different product lines and assemblies as needed.
• Engage in manual/hand assembly tasks, including braiding, stretching, and pulling catheters by hand.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience in medical assembly and catheter assemblies.
• Proficiency in braiding processes, annealing, and reflow techniques.
• Experience with microscopes and smartscopes.
• Competency in using basic hand tools such as tweezers, micrometers, and calipers.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, GDPs, and safety procedures.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to learn and be cross-trained.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Work Environment

You will work in a clean room environment that is well-lit, temperature-controlled, and expanding. Full clean room attire is required, including gowns, smocks, hairnets, and glasses. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule, Monday to Thursday from 5am to 3:30pm (4x10s), with flexibility for potential work on Fridays.

This is a contract to hire position based out of New Hope, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
