Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Acupuncturist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide expert acupuncture treatments aimed at promoting healing, alleviating pain, and enhancing overall wellness for our diverse patient population. Your expertise will help deliver personalized care that addresses acute and chronic conditions, ensuring each patient receives compassionate, effective treatment in a safe and professional environment. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations, to determine appropriate acupuncture treatment plans.
  • Perform acupuncture procedures using sterile techniques, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout each session.
  • Manage pain effectively by utilizing techniques such as trigger point therapy and other evidence-based modalities tailored to individual needs.
  • Educate patients on treatment options, post-treatment care, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing health and wellness goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatments provided, patient progress, and any adverse reactions in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Adhere to all aseptic techniques and safety protocols, including CPR and BLS certifications, to ensure a safe clinical environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate acupuncture as part of holistic treatment approaches.

Skills

  • Valid licensure as a Licensed Acupuncturist with current certification from an accredited licensing board.
  • CPR Certification and BLS Certification are required to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture practice.
  • Proven experience in managing acute pain conditions through acupuncture and trigger point therapy techniques.
  • Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care and education.
  • Ability to perform detailed patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history analysis.
