Amcare Pro Home Health is interviewing for a Licensed Physical Therapists (PT) and Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) to add to our growing DFW team.

The right candidate would need to be a self-starter, who needs very little supervision and can exemplify the ability to supervise PTAs .

The territories are South Dallas, and North and South FTW . Previous HOME HEALTH experience is REQUIRED. Knowledge of the OASIS assessment tool would be necessary.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and participate in developing the plan of care.
• Direct physical therapy treatment/supervise PTAs
• Work under the supervision of a PT
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in the use and care of therapeutic appliances.
• Prepare and submit clinical notes in a timely manner.

Requirements of Qualified Candidates:

• Must be currently licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant in the STATE OF TEXAS and compliant with accepted professional standards and practices
• Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
