About the Role:

The Flatwork/DryFold position at our Atlanta Plant is a critical role focused on the efficient processing and handling of flatwork textiles and dry folded items. The primary objective is to ensure that all linens, towels, and related products are folded, sorted, and prepared to meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail to maintain the integrity and presentation of each item while adhering to safety and operational protocols. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall productivity of the plant by working collaboratively with team members and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, this position plays a vital part in delivering high-quality finished products that meet both internal and external customer expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Basic understanding of textile handling and folding processes.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or laundry processing environment.
• Familiarity with industrial folding machinery and equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude to assist with minor machine adjustments.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Operate flatwork folding machines and dry fold equipment to process linens and textiles efficiently.
• Inspect folded items for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company standards and customer requirements.
• Sort and organize folded products for packaging and distribution.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area, adhering to all plant safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational issues promptly.

Skills:

The required skills such as attention to detail and the ability to operate folding machinery are essential for ensuring that all flatwork and dry fold items meet quality standards consistently. Candidates will use their organizational skills daily to sort and prepare products for shipment efficiently.
