Now Hiring Dock Worker in York, PA

First Shift Opportunity 7am to 3:30pm $18 to $19 to start

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team on the 1st shift. This role involves operating as a Dock Operator with responsibilities that include unloading and loading trailers, ensuring accurate paperwork completion, and adhering to inspection processes to maintain product quality.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trailers efficiently.
• Accurately fill out and manage all necessary paperwork.
• Follow the inspection process to ensure product quality.
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Record parcel deliveries and deliver them to the appropriate person or department.
• Assist with receiving responsibilities as needed.
• Maintain general housekeeping practices throughout the warehouse and manufacturing operations.
• Ensure the physical condition of all equipment is maintained.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment, assisting other operators as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Work overtime as needed, including weekends, and perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of warehouse experience in shipping and receiving.
• Proficiency in order selection and order picking.
• Experience operating a sit down forklift, and or Hi low.
• Ability to handle material and operate equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work orders.
• Ability to lift at least 70 lbs. frequently and push/pull 82 lbs. of force.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Experience with packaging, shipping labels, inventory control, and using a stand-up forklift.
• Understanding of Bills of Lading.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
