Overview
Coast Guard property logistic specialist (must be US citizen)
Responsibilities
- Meet/coordinate with customer at Property Management for US Coast Guard and logistic.
- Verifications by cage code/loan updates for upcoming contract close-outs/for APO reconciliation process.
- Assist with updating work processes and procedures, i.e., flow charts, PowerPoint slides.
- Schedule turn-in appointments for property in possession, 12 days before contract end date.
- Coordinate return to the warehouse for processing. Includes providing instructions and shipping information.
- As applicable, perform any sanitization of storage media or hard drives, remove hard drives of property items to be turned in for disposal to DLA-DS or other disposal sites, and prepare and sign documents verifying sanitization of media.
- Responsible for efficiently preparing and completing all necessary disposal tags and documents to ensure timely disposal and avoid unnecessary delays.
- Provide shipment IDs for assets received (per Asset Visibility Report).
