Job Description

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a CNC Operator to join their team. As a CNC Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting machining operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and strong problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Operator

Location: Saugerties, NY

Pay Range: $23

Shift: First shift: 6am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday with O/T as needed on Fridays

What's the Job?

• Operate CNC machining centers to produce precision parts
• Read and interpret manufacturing instructions, drawings, and quality standards
• Inspect finished products using measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, and stereo microscopes
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine or process issues to ensure continuous production
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to PPE requirements

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a CNC operator or machinist
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and instructions
• Good math skills and mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of machine shop tools and equipment
• Must wear standard or steel toe work boots; PPE provided by the client
