Now Hiring: Certified Medical Coder (Inpatient Coding)

📍 Location: Bronx, NY

🕒 Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

🏠 Training: 1–2 weeks onsite, then fully remote

💵 Pay: $30–$39/hr

📄 Contract: 3 months with possible extension

We’re seeking an experienced Certified Medical Coder with a strong Inpatient Coding background to join a leading healthcare organization. This role starts onsite for training and transitions to remote work once responsibilities are mastered. The Hiring Manager is flexible with training scheduling.

🔹 Required Experience & Certifications

• CCS Certification required
• EPIC and 3M experience required
• 3–4+ years of Inpatient Coding experience (acute care preferred)
• Strong understanding of ICD-10, ICD-9-CM, CPT-4 , and Encoder systems
• Outpatient & ED coding experience preferred
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and coding software

🔹 Role Expectations

• Strong knowledge of coding guidelines and federal billing regulations
• Ability to research and resolve coding issues
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and disease processes
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience in coder training or mentoring is a plus
