Overview

Help grow a strong and diverse volunteer team by connecting with local communities and sharing opportunities to serve with the American Red Cross.

Key Responsibilities

• Canvass local businesses, churches, community centers, senior centers, and libraries.
• Distribute flyers and brochures to promote volunteer opportunities.
• Attend and support recruitment events and community outreach activities.
• Promote Red Cross volunteer roles at fairs, presentations, and open-call meetings.
• Work with the Volunteer Services team to identify recruitment needs and match volunteers to roles.

Time Commitment

Approximately 24+ hours per week , with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Passion for the Red Cross mission.
• Friendly and comfortable speaking with the public.
• Organized and reliable.
• Willing to follow public health and Red Cross guidelines.

Support & Training

• Orientation to the American Red Cross.
• Volunteer Recruitment Training.
• Ongoing support from the Volunteer Services team.
